New Bass Player and New Gigs

Greetings and Salutations

It's been way too long since I posted on this sucker, so I guess it's high time I said something.

After trying out a good number of people, we have asked a friend of the band to join PLUMP on the bass guitar. We are very pleased that Josh Matranga has agreed to come and play with us. Josh also plays in Vibe Committee, based out of Houston. We have played some shows with these guys in the past, and they are a very good band and all around nice people, and we are glad that they are sharing Josh with us. PLUMP is now getting things together and practicing regularly, which is good, and we are getting ready to get out and play some shows.

Ah, some shows. Our pals in Peach Truck Republic from up in Fort Worth have invited us to play some shows with them in November. We will be playing at two of our very favorite haunts--Revolution in Bryan on Friday November 18 and Last Concert Cafe in Houston on Saturday November 19. We will be opening both of these shows--so please show up early. More info on these shows are forthcoming. Look for an extended itinerary of shows to begin in January and February. We are excited!!
